Back breaking work and fixes and airbrushing at total of approx 35 hours... -_- i'm tired...
This represents my hand, it is human hand which is humanoid mode and i love working with mechanical stuff that represented by the non-humanoid mode, i like it so much that it feels like my hand working non stop just like one of them XP
Wish me luck to showcase this on an exhibition.
Anyway... there's the final version of it, enjoy. Template will be released as soon as PDO files are fixed. Use the pepakura viewer to open, view and print this template.
Truly an amazing design! And the model looks exquisitely well built. How did the exhibition go? I downloaded the PDO, will take a shot at it when I get some time, it deserves the dedication required to get it built right! Two questions: -Would you say that the piece distribution in papekura could be used to print in different shades/colors of paper to get a good color design without airbrushing afterwards? -What type (weight) of paper did you use or would you recommend for this model? Thanks, and congratulations again!
Thank you very much! the exhibition was very successful IMO, I'll wait for the shots . And, the pepakura file i've uploaded does not have any color, so if you intend to color it, i'm affraid you have to use manual method such as airbrush or print it on a colored paper or more extremely use brush! The type of paper i use is Bluish White carton with around 200-220 gsm thickness. Hope that helps, and good luck to you!
firstly on screen, then i printed it on paper, then make it into it's originally intended shape. The 3D software i use to design this is Google Sketchup, then use pepakura to unfold it..
I have checked on you for so long, I thought this was 3D thou. That's not easy to be made out of paper, did you use wire on the joints? Congrats on DD man.

Were these made with paper or on-screen?
Google Sketchup is so hard for me to work with -3-
