At least for now... i still have to tweak some of the texturing for those decals... well, that would be too long and i have to pay for my long absent in dA.

So, here it is the 3D model of R-9AD3 "King's Mind" from side scrolling shooter game "R-Type Final"

Gonna make this into papercraft soon. Sorry for the crappy "decoy". I'm too lazy and too sleepy to make one.

King's mind was kind hard to use, I blast through with Leo and Giga cannon, game breaking. Other branches difficult to appreciate are strider and bio-ships. But I have to play them ind order to get the configurable ships, gonna get em all, that's the spirit.

LOL, it is hard to use, well... i use downloaded save data to unlock all the ships XD don't have enough time to finish all those 101 hardcore ships...

There is an invisibility cheat, I use that to unlock ships while still enjoying the game, its not too long a game without dieing, some of those later ships require a lengthy play time, I just let the game run on its own and go do something else. I just wish they made more levels, it seems all I can do was to unlock ships, 20 level would make better test ground for new ships.

preety hardcore, that game. some of the ships are already built as papercraft just in case you're interested, check the pepakura gallery for downloads and infos(look for the japanese page).[link]

pdo is Pepakura Designer Object, is a format that you can open and print with pepakura viewer that is papercraft, reborn in digital age.

almost... except for the fancy/ bluish white paper to make the optimum quality. hmm, not always though, some require less or even more challenging material to work with.
